2019 Reentry Symposium

Part 3

Purpose:

To enhance reentry partnerships

  • Reentry stakeholders

  • Ready4Work-Tallahassee Reentry Program

  • Big Bend AFTER Reentry Coalition

  • Florida State University

  • Lively Technical College

 The symposium will explore various dimensions of societal reentry (e.g., political, social, economic, spiritual and cultural and trauma and substance abuse/mental health) that must be taken into consideration when devising strategies to tackle recidivism effectively. Specifically, the symposium will bring together stakeholders and practitioners to explore the multiple facets of the problems and emerging opportunities of decreasing recidivism.Please submit proposals for the following workshop tracks:       

  • Innovative and Emerging Practices;

  • Legal and Advocacy Collaborations; and

  • Collaborations with Public Safety or Corrections 

All attendees and presenters must register via the “Symposium Registration” by Monday, October 28th, 2019.
